Position Summary

As a Sales Representative at Bluewater Energy, you will guide homeowners and business owners through their renewable energy journey with a consultative, trust-first approach. You will identify client needs, design tailored energy solutions, and manage the full sales cycle from first contact through to installation handoff. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, accountable, and energised by helping people make smart, long-term investments.

Key Responsibilities

Prospecting & Business Development

• Prospect and qualify high-potential residential and commercial clients using CRM systems, online databases, and outbound outreach
• Cold-call and engage potential clients to generate new sales opportunities
• Deliver tailored energy solutions through a consultative sales approach, in person, by phone, or via video
• Prepare and present professional, competitive proposals
• Navigate negotiations and close contracts while maintaining Bluewater's standard of integrity and care

Pipeline & Client Management

• Maintain regular, meaningful contact with leads throughout the sales cycle
• Build long-lasting client relationships grounded in trust, follow-through, and genuine care
• Ensure seamless project handoff and client satisfaction post-sale
• Upsell and cross-sell services where appropriate to maximise client value

CRM & Reporting

• Log all client communications, activities, and pipeline updates in Appello CRM
• Track and report on daily, weekly, and monthly sales metrics
• Prepare regular sales performance reports for the management team

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with design, operations, and installation teams to ensure smooth project delivery
• Share client feedback and market insights with leadership
• Contribute to team best practices and support a culture of continuous improvement

Product Knowledge & Professional Development

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our full product portfolio, including solar PV, battery storage, backup generators, EV chargers, and power control systems
• Attend training sessions and stay current on industry trends, Ontario incentive programmes, and competitor activity

What You Bring

• Post-secondary education in Sales, Business Development, or a related field
• 3+ years in high-performance sales (renewables, home improvement, construction, or related industries preferred)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM platforms
• Skilled in competitive quoting, proposal development, and objection handling
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
• Valid Ontario Driver's Licence

Bluewater Energy is one of the most established and experienced renewable energy companies in Ontario. We are looking for electricians to join our growing team to Install and maintain solar photovoltaic power electronics, energy storage systems, backup power generators, EV chargers, and energy management and power control systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints or technical diagrams
• Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems
• Install, wire, and maintain Solar PV power electronics
• Install, wire, and maintain energy storage systems
• Install, wire, and maintain backup generators
• Install, wire, and maintain energy monitoring systems
• Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers
• Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
• Follow CEC, OSEC, and local building regulations
• Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment

Job Requirements:

1. Completion of electrician apprenticeship.
2. Hold electrician license
3. Experience working as an electrician.
4. High school diploma.
5. Valid driver's license with no demerit points.
6. Current Working at heights certification a plus.

Bluewater Energy is growing again, and we are looking to hire people-oriented, solution based leaders for our team.  Our regular working hours are Mon-Fri 8am-5pm.  A typical day in the life of an electrician on our team starts at our operations center in Guelph, ON at 8am.  Coordination for the day focuses on double checking materials and equipment required for the scheduled project(s) ahead, ensuring vehicles are loaded and ready, and confirming scopes of work.  You then depart our location in a company vehicle with the remainder of the team and head to the schedule project location.  We deliver projects for clients across South-Western Ontario, and so working locations change every day to 3-4 days for larger projects.  Working alongside the other outstanding members of our team, you will be installing renewable energy systems for our customers, who are truly some of the most amazing people you will ever meet. 

There is never a dull moment, and the position does require continuous problem solving and decision making from everyone, as we work with the uniqueness's of every job.  You will be challenged to use your skills, experience, and ability, and to develop them further along the way.  We aim to have fun while leaving behind incredible, reliable, renewable energy systems, that look beautiful and deliver a high level of performance for our clients for decades to come.
